To get there I literally walked most of the way from Notting Hill via Hyde Park, the Cork Street Galleries, the City, and very long Cable Street. There I saw the mural celebrating the East Enders resisting the fascists in the 1936 Battle of Cable Street riots. Such a powerful embodiment of united resistance.
