The moon may not be born of silence <\/span>and it may be loud again.<\/p>\n

The snow on top of the mountain<\/p>\n

isn\u2019t that silent.<\/p>\n

My little doggy Tilly and I can hear it:<\/p>\n

tippity tap, tippity tap.<\/p>\n

In the evening, Tilly and I sometimes sit on the sofa<\/p>\n

and we hear sounds outside:<\/p>\n

May be the courtyard is not that silent.<\/p>\n

Scrapyards aren\u2019t always that silent<\/p>\n

big stray doggies might be snoring: hrrrrrr hrrrrrr!!!<\/p>\n

The best hiding spots<\/p>\n

aren\u2019t always so quiet:<\/p>\n

at the bottom of the garden,<\/p>\n

behind sofas,<\/p>\n

and the cupboard under the stairs.<\/p>\n

Under the sea in caves \u2013 it is sometimes silent.<\/p>\n

In the open sea \u2013 it is not always so quiet.<\/p>\n

Tilly and I never like total, total silence.<\/p>\n

But a little silence is nice.<\/p>\n

Like little footsteps of birds pattering in the snow:<\/p>\n

tip, tap, tip, tap.<\/p>\n

When it is sunny, I want some rain<\/p>\n

and sometimes rain comes.<\/p>\n

My ears and Tilly\u2019s ears see the silence:<\/p>\n

silence makes a circular shape when it is cold,<\/p>\n

and a square shape when it is warm;<\/p>\n

and all shapes at once when it is very happy.<\/p>\n

Silence smells like lavender.<\/p>\n

And sometimes, smells like sage.<\/p>\n
