You say I can be your friend.
\nI look at you.
\nMy father and yours were enemies.
\nYes, our leaders told them so.
\nI wonder if they believed it.<\/p>\n

We know better. Or do we?
\nWe have a future:
\n\u201ctogether\u201d we try to live, learn, teach.
\nYou with long history behind you.
\nMe taking it, building on.<\/p>\n

So we are from the same root.
\nYes, we are one.<\/p>\n

The friend I never knew
