\nI first fell among Quakers about fifteen years ago. I\u2019m a late developer.<\/p>\n

\nThe first brimstone butterfly in the garden. Welcoming refugees.<\/p>\n

\nI love the chapter on Faithful Lives. William Dent, 18.11, was a generous introvert and Lucy Harris, 18.17, an awesome extravert.<\/p>\n

What was the last book that you read?<\/strong>
\nSebastian Barry\u2019s latest novel, Old God\u2019s Time. Searing memories of the church\u2019s abuse of children in Ireland \u2013 harrowing but also beautiful.<\/p>\n

What would you say to someone coming to MfW for the first time?<\/strong>
\nWelcome, friend.<\/p>\n

Can you describe what Quakerism is to you?<\/strong>
\nThe marriage of the spiritual and the political feels like home.<\/p>\n

If you could do anything, what would you do?<\/strong>
\nEmpower climate activists around the world to succeed in their work of transitioning to just societies and a sustainable planet.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
